Cobus Potgieter

Cobus Potgieter, Executive Chairperson of MSC Education Holdings, founded MSC Business College (now known as MSC Education Online) in 1991 and in 1998 MSC Business College was the recipient of the Old Mutual Small Business of the Year Award in the Eastern Cape Region.

Cobus also founded The MSC Artisan Academy in 2010, which falls under the MSC Education Holdings Group. Cobus has over thirty years management experience with large corporations and has a passion for the upliftment of people. In 2014 Cobus was awarded the Business Leader of the Year by the Leadership Development Institute and Border Kei Chamber of Business Buffalo City. Cobus holds a Degree in Human Science and a BA Honours Degree in National Strategy.

Carol Taggart

Carol Taggart holds the position as CEO for the MSC Education Holdings Group and has spent over 20 years within the MSC Group in various positions.

With over 27 years’ experience in the education and training arena, she holds a degree in Education as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice (Cum Laude). Carol is driven by a passion for education, training, and the upskilling of individuals as well as workforces; as this all contributes to the development of human capital; positively impacting on the wellbeing of individuals as well as the economy of the country.

Willie Gresse

Willie holds the position of Chief Strategic Officer and has been with the MSC Educations Holdings Group for the past 13 years. Willie has over 28 years’ experience in adult training and education.

During his time as the Deputy Director: Education n Training at a Public FET College, Willie was involved in the implementation of the National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at various college and undertook two international study tours to England, Netherlands, Germany (lower Saxony) and Austria, to research and investigate vocational education. Willie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/commerce from the University of the Free State.
